We love Vaughan, and we want to share that love with our community.

People don’t really spend a lot of time thinking about how great our city is. What goes on around here can seem so normal and ordinary, we hardly have to think about it. People spend so much time thinking about Toronto, or national politics, or all the craziness that’s always going on south of the border.

So with all that goes on around us and outside of our control, we challenge you to think locally. This is where our kids go to school, where we live with our loved ones and where we relax in the park. The reality is that there’s so much to do here, and Vaughan has a lot of the GTA’s coolest places, from Canada’s Wonderland to our conservation centres to our favourite restaurants (Cynthia’s for us).

That’s why we started this newsletter. We want to share our love for Vaughan and keep other folks who also love our city in the know on what goes on locally. Reading the news can be a massive headache and can make you feel powerless. When you think locally, you’re not thinking about people in pictures far, far away. You’re thinking about your neighbours, your kids’ schools, your roads, and your parks.

When you think locally and see something wrong, you can do something about it.

And that’s empowering.

So if you love Vaughan as much as we do and want to know what’s going on in the places you can impact most, subscribe to our weekly newsletter and we’ll keep you updated on all things Vaughan.
